Please read these Terms carefully before using our website or placing an order. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
1. About Our Website
Our online store is powered by Shopify.
By using our website, you agree to use it only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You must not attempt to interfere with the security or operation of the website, introduce malicious software, gain unauthorised access to the website or use it for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.
2. Products
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, photographs and other information displayed on our website are accurate.
Product images are provided for illustration. Packaging, appearance or other minor product details may occasionally change without affecting the nature of the product.
All products are subject to availability.
We reserve the right to withdraw or discontinue products and to limit quantities where reasonably necessary.
3. Prices
Prices are displayed in pounds sterling (£) unless otherwise stated.
The price payable is the price displayed when you place your order, subject to the correction of obvious pricing errors.
We may change prices at any time, but changes will not normally affect orders that we have already accepted.
Delivery charges, where applicable, will be shown during checkout before you complete your purchase.
4. Orders
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the products in your basket.
Receiving an order confirmation does not necessarily mean that we have accepted your order.
We may decline or cancel an order where there is a reasonable reason to do so, including where:
- A product is unavailable
- There has been an obvious pricing or product-description error
- Payment cannot be authorised
- We reasonably suspect fraud or misuse
- Delivery cannot be made to the address supplied
If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled goods.
5. Payment
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available at checkout.
You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method supplied.
Payments may be processed by Shopify or other payment providers made available through our store.
6. Delivery
We will make reasonable efforts to dispatch and deliver orders within the estimated times shown on our website.
Delivery times are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.
We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, although your statutory rights regarding delivery remain unaffected.
Please ensure that the delivery information supplied with your order is complete and accurate.
7. Returns, Cancellations and Refunds
Returns, cancellations and refunds are governed by our Returns & Refunds Policy and applicable UK consumer law.
For eligible online purchases, consumers generally have statutory cancellation rights. Certain goods may be excluded from cancellation rights where an applicable legal exception applies.
Coffee machines and other eligible equipment may be returned in accordance with applicable cancellation rights.
Coffee machines should be returned unused, complete and in their original condition, with all accessories, manuals and, wherever possible, their original packaging. If a machine has been used or handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect it, we reserve the right to make an appropriate deduction from the refund to reflect any reduction in value, where permitted by law.
Nothing in these Terms or our Returns & Refunds Policy affects your statutory rights concerning faulty, damaged, misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming goods.
Please refer to our Returns & Refunds Policy for full details.
8. Faulty or Damaged Products
If you receive a product that is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, please contact us at:
Please provide your order details and, where appropriate, photographs or other information that helps us investigate the problem.
Your statutory rights under UK consumer law are not affected.
9. Coffee and Food Products
Some products sold through our website are food products.
Customers should check product packaging and information carefully before consumption, particularly where allergies or intolerances are concerned.
Product ingredients, allergen information, packaging and manufacturer information may change. Where such information is important to you, please check the product packaging and/or contact us before consumption.
Nothing in this section limits any rights you have where goods are faulty, unsafe, misdescribed or otherwise do not conform to the contract.
10. Accounts and Customer Information
If you create an account or provide information when placing an order, you are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is accurate and current.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
Please notify us if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
Our handling of personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
11. Promotions and Discount Codes
From time to time we may offer promotions, discount codes or special offers.
Additional conditions may apply to individual promotions and will be displayed with the relevant offer where applicable.
Unless otherwise stated, promotional codes cannot be exchanged for cash.
We may refuse or cancel a discount where we reasonably believe that a promotion has been misused or obtained fraudulently.
Nothing in a promotion affects your statutory consumer rights.
12. Website Content and Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the content of this website, including text, graphics, branding and website design, belongs to us or is used with permission from the relevant rights holder.
You may use the website for your personal and lawful use.
You must not reproduce, distribute, commercially exploit or substantially copy website content without permission, except where permitted by law.
Third-party trademarks and brand names remain the property of their respective owners.
13. Third-Party Services and Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites or use services supplied by third parties.
We are not responsible for the content or operation of third-party websites that we do not control.
You should review the terms and privacy policies of third-party services where appropriate.
14. Privacy and Cookies
We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Our website also uses cookies and similar technologies. Information about these technologies and the choices available to you can be found in our Privacy Policy and any cookie controls provided on our website.
15. Our Responsibility to You
We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts your statutory rights as a consumer.
We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed or for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control, except where the law provides otherwise.
If you use products purchased from us for business or commercial purposes, different legal considerations may apply.
16. Events Outside Our Control
We will not be responsible for a failure or delay in performing our obligations where this results from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Where such an event affects your order, we will take reasonable steps to minimise the effect and will contact you where appropriate.
Your statutory rights are not affected.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our business, website, services or legal obligations.
The latest version will be published on our website and the “Last updated” date will be amended.
Changes will not remove rights that you already have in relation to an existing order.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
19. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also have rights under the mandatory laws applicable where you live.
Nothing in this section prevents you from exercising any rights regarding where legal proceedings may be brought that are available to you under applicable consumer law.
